Pokemon Go issues update to fix Google permissions snafu.

Niantic Labs has issued and update to fix the IO permissions snafu. The previous version granted full access to a persons "Google Life" (Including Drive, Photos, Contacts, Email, Etc) to Niantic if you used IOS devices. Now the game will only ask for basic information like your name and email—and now it’ll give you a warning first.

But you can not just apply the update. First you must log into your Google account and remove the previous access.

Find "Pokemon Go Release" and "Remove Access"

Then you can download and apply the new update, and log in again.
